A Difficult Week

It has been a tough week for my colleagues and I.  One of my schools’ principals passed away on Friday morning, and I find myself very shaken up over it.  Just when you think that nothing can stop you, something like this happens and it reminds you of just how fragile we really are.  Even when I heard the news of her suddenly being in the hospital last weekend, I never thought for one minute that she wouldn’t pull through.  She was too young to go.  She was an amazing person, always smiling, calm and collected even in high stress situations and I admired her greatly.  I can’t imagine what her school, staff and students, are going through right now.  I have volunteered my time tomorrow to cover some classes while staff goes to the funeral.  My heart breaks for them and for her friends and family.  She will be greatly missed. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
