I admit it, I have a serious addiction
to clip art. So, today, I treated
myself to a Bamboo Splash drawing tablet!
I’m so excited! I could hardly wait to
get it home and try it out. I set it up,
installed all the software, played with it for about 15 minutes, and now, here
I am, blogging. I am COMPLETELY
OVERWHELMED and have NO CLUE where to start!

Don't worry - you'll get the hang of it in no time. What program are you using with it? I found using the tablet was the easy part, but learning the program (in my case, photoshop) was a huge learning curve. Lots of online tutorials! But looking back, technology in general has completely revolutionized both my art and my teaching - in a good way!

Aw thanks so much! I have played around with Photoshop before, and I got discouraged very fast as I also found it was a big learning curve. Technology doesn't come easy for me. The programs that came with the tablet are ArtRage3 and AutoDesk Sketchbook Express. I watched a few tutorials online last night and I think ArtRage is more user friendly, so I'll start there.
