Bill Nye the Science Guy

I’ve been so lucky these past two weeks!  I am filling in for a teacher who is away until the end of the month.  I’m teaching in a Section 23 classroom, with 5 students (all boys!) between the ages of 9 and 12.  I am loving every minute of it! 

Since I’ve been there, we started a new science unit on structures.  This is one of the cool videos that I found online, from Bill Nye the Science Guy.  I loooooove him.  He has a way of explaining things to kids and making it so much fun!  Although it’s a bit dated, and the boys thought it was pretty funny, they still learned a lot from it.

This website I found, thanks to Pinterest, has all ONE HUNDRED FULL EPISODES of his show!  Sweeeeet!
