Alberta holds a
very special place in my heart. My husband, the kids and I lived in
Red Deer for 3 years and I fell in love with the prairies, the mountains and
the people. I loved being right between Calgary
and Edmonton and we spent many weekends in either city, visiting friends, being
tourists and going to dance competition with our daughter.
My heart breaks
as I see the devastation that has been caused by the floods. My friends are posting pictures and videos on Facebook and I’m just
blown away by the challenges that everyone is now facing. Being so far away, I felt powerless in helping them. Sure, I texted ABHELP to 4664 (through Rogers) to
donate $5 to the Canadian Red Cross, but it just didn’t feel
like enough.
Several times,
I’ve seen the Teachers Pay Teachers community come together to help others in
need by donating products and bundling them into a great deal. Once again, my teacher friends have pulled through.
Thank you so much
to everyone who has donated. Special thanks to Rainbow City Learning for organizing this fundraiser and to Glitter Meets Glue for designing the awesome blog button! All three bundles are sold at $25 each, through Rainbow City Learning TpT Store starting tomorrow!! Stay tuned for a preview of what you'll be getting for your money! One bundle is up and I've downloaded the preview. Wow! What an amazing deal! Make sure to download the previews to see exactly what you're getting in each bundle!
