Name the Panda!

I found a new classroom mascot! When I taught a grade 3 and 4 split a couple of years ago, I had a stuffed dog named Big Mack (read about him here) and my students loved him so much that he's now retired.  He's in rough shape. I've had to sew him back up too many times and he now lives in my son's bedroom where he is still loved very much.  Since Big Mack retired, I've been on the lookout for someone to replace him.  And I found him!! At Costco, of all places!

The panda has inspired a new classroom theme!  I can just see it already! (All I need is a classroom of my own!) I created this awesome alphabet line (set of 26 alphabet posters) with a bamboo theme and the creative juices are flowing! More to come!

I need help naming this cutie! So, I sent out a shoutout over Facebook and you came up with tons of very cool names for him (or maybe it's a girl)!  Here are my favourite five!  Vote for the one you prefer and Friday, the name with the most votes will win! The person who suggested that name will receive a copy of my alphabet line for free!
