This back to school activity is one of my favourites to do with my students. It's by Runde's Room, one of my favourite TPT sellers. This year, I decided to try putting them up on our bulletin board and what better way to showcase them than with a tree! I love how it turned out and it was super easy to make. I first tried with tissue paper and it just looked ridiculous. Then I found a big roll of brown craft paper. That was perfect. I ripped, twisted, scrunched, stapled and taped and voilà!
What made it so easy is the fact that a tree just isn't perfect, so there was no point in me even trying to make it look perfect.
I'll be keeping this one up for a while. As the weather changes, I'll change up the leaves and the student work. Do you have a favourite go-to back to school bulletin board?
This is gorgeous, Mrs Mathis - I love that you can adapt it to the different seasons! What a great way to display student work
