I like making my own costumes. I start thinking about the perfect costumes weeks before Halloween and I don't share my idea with anyone. I like to surprise people. And I like costumes that make people laugh. Last year, this was my costume. Can you tell I'm a Crazy Cat Lady? All I needed was a robe (check), rollers (check) and stuffed animal toys (check). I also had cat treats and toys in my pockets and a really ugly cat tshirt with sequins sewn on it. It was hilarious.
And this is me this year. I got the reaction I was hoping for...TONS of laughter! My hubby was amazing and made the frame for me from PVC pipe. You can't see it in the picture, but there's a shower head attached as well and I rolled up my pants and wore flip flops. I tried to find a dorky soap on a rope, but had to settle for a pink puff instead. By the afternoon, kids were begging to try on my shower. :)
